Organizations/Affiliations:  I'm a member of WSA, Surf America, Save Trestles Campaign, No On the Toll Road, 5 year member of the Adventure Princesses (beach cleanups, local fundraisers), Surfrider charities/community service and The Ocean Institute at Dana Point Harbor.

Role Models: My role model is Kelly Slater. He is, and always has been a world class awesome surfer- even before I was born. I'd like to have a long standing career in surfing like he has. My mom, for being supportive in anything I chose to participate in, taking Jayna and I to surf coaching and practice and never pressuring me.

Interesting Fact: When I was much younger I played Jennifer Aniston's baby in The Good Girl, as well as Vince Vaughns baby in Old School. I was also in NYPD and X-Files. I'm too young to see the movies, but eventually I may want to persue acting.. but for now it's all about surfing!

JAYNA BOSSE

Birth Date: 06.02.01

Hometown: San Clemente, CA

Homebreak: Trestles/T-Street

Sponsors: Smart Girls Who Surf

Proudest Moments in Surfing: Receiving 1st place in the T. Patterson Seafest Surfing Contest, 2010, 6th place girls U12 at the WSA Gatorade Tour 2011 (Huntington Beach and San Clemente) and placing in the Girls Top 7 in the WSA '10-'11 Overall Standings.

Passions Outside of Surfing: I enjoy challenging myself at school, especially in math.  I switched from snowboarding to skiing and love going up to the mountains in good conditions.  Boogie boarding is also a 2nd to surfing!  I love going to the beach and enjoying the awesome weather here in San Clemente. I'm always excited to do any community service that gives back to my hometown.  Baking is also one of my hobbies.

Organizations/Affiliations:  I'm a member of the Western Surfing Association, Surf America, Save Trestles Campaign, Gifted and Talented Scholastic Program (GATE), No On the Toll Road, 5 year member of the YMCA Adventure Princesses (we do volunteer work with beach clean up, local fundraisers, etc.), participate in Surfrider charities/community service and The Ocean Institute at Dana Point Harbor.  One of the highlights of being involved in my area was picketing against the proposed Toll Road (which became victorious!).  I will always be involved with service organizations, it's just in my blood.  I'm enthusiastic with just about everything that comes my way!

Role Models:

My role model is Briitany Hamilton, because she suffered the loss of a limb - but didn't let that hold her back from her passion...surfing.  Such an inspiration to all of us, surfers or non-surfers.  I would love to meet her someday. I also admire a local competitor, Malia Ward.  She is an outstanding surfer and I hope to be at her level someday (plus she's so nice!).  My parents...What can I say? They have been there for me at every corner, supporting every endeavor I choose.  If it weren't for their love and encouragement, I would not be blessed with the opportunity to surf competitively.

Interesting Fact: When I was much younger I was in television shows and a motion picture. I played Vince Vaughns child in "Old School" (along with my twin Ellie Bosse). I was also in "The X Files" many times and several episodes of "NYPD Blue". I don't remember much, but my Mom has all the DVDs so I can watch them when I'm older.
